Colin Kaepernick’s Girlfriend Nessa Confronts ‘Teen Mom’ Star Jenelle Evans Over Hateful Comments

Twitter was not here for the white tears.

Entertainment journalist Nessa Diab does not play when it comes to her man, Colin Kaepernick, and his beliefs. This all showed during Monday's Teen Mom 2 reunion when the Hot 97 VJ, who was hosting the show, confronted cast member Jenelle Evans over some disparaging comments she made about the NFL star.

Things first got heated between the two after Evans, 27, shared her issues with cast mate Amber Portwood, who called her husband, David Eason, abusive.

Finding her sentiment ironic, Diab, 38, pointed out that she did the same to her when she took to Facebook in September 2018 to slam Kaepernick and Nike over their "Just Do It" campaign.

"You posted hateful comments on social media about my family. My man, Colin Kaepernick," she said.

When Evans repeatedly denied having said anything damaging or disrespectful about Kaepernick, 31, Diab prompted the producers to show screenshots of her comments on the screen behind them.

Kaepernick first made headlines in August 2016 when he famously refused to stand for the national anthem when it played before games. As a form of peaceful protest against racial injustice and police brutality, he, instead, chose to kneel.

In response to Nike's announcement of their partnership with the athlete, Evans wrote, "'Let's choose the most disrespectful guy in the NFL for our promos. Let's add a slogan about sacrificing, everyone will love it. Let's choose the man that kneels at our flag,' YOU'RE WRONG."

She went on to say, in the same post, that she "will not be buying Nike anymore," before voicing her support for Donald Trump: "Donald J. Trump unemployment rate is so low, even Colin Kaepernick found a job! MERICA!"

Continuing to confront her on these comments, Diab calmly told the reality starlet, "Please understand something — my man uses his platform to peacefully protest systematic oppression in this country. Specifically, police brutality against Black people. Men, women and children are dying — wrongfully dying. And people who are doing this are not being held accountable... I would have appreciated if you had contacted me. I would've been more than happy, Jenelle, to have a healthy conversation."

Before Diab could finish, Evans tearfully said she knew nothing about Kaepernick before fleeing the stage.

"I'm done with this bulls**t," she said while she stormed off in tears. "This is about my storyline and you want to bring up your issues. You want to bring up Teen Mom to bring up your issues."
