Look: Did CNN Accidentally Air 30 Minutes of Hardcore Porn?
One person watching Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown reported to have had quite the unexpected Thanksgiving Day thrill last night (Nov. 24).
Twitter user, @Solikearose, took to the social media site to claim that the programming they were anticipated tuning in to watch was accidentally replaced with a half hour of hardcore, transsexual pornography. As the tweet began going viral, the cable network and CNN scattered to get to the bottom of what had happened.
One Twitter user laughed at the mistake, saying they'd rather see porn than political news.
However, as the cable provider further investigated the situation, it appears as though the whole thing was in fact a hoax.
Whoops.
Prior to making the account private, the original source of this allegation asked, "Did anyone else with RCN in Boston see the hardcore porn that was broadcast by CNN by mistake?"
"Despite media reports to the contrary, RCN assures us that there was no interruption of CNN's programming in the Boston area last night," CNN shared with Variety, confirming the whole allegation to be false.
One Twitter user made note of how this hoax is a perfect example of how quickly fake news spreads.

Another noted that she would be more upset in this situation.
Prior to the news being deemed a hoax, this person wasn't that mad.
Meanwhile, this Twitter user is calling for media to re-evaluate reporting on stories with limited evidence or confirmed facts.
Perhaps someone celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday a little bit too hard, and the Internet got a little carried away. Although, we do admit it would have been funny to hear Anthony Bourdain weigh in on the interruption if the reports were true.
