Welp: Watch This Rapper Get Booed Offstage During J. Cole's Performance

When clout-chasing goes wrong...

Miami Soundcloud rapper Lil Pump gave true meaning to J. Cole’s K.O.D. finale track, “1985 (Intro to ‘The Fall Off’),” during the Fayetteville rap icon’s performance of the song at Florida’s multi-weekend Rolling Loud music fest.

And just as Cole reminds in the track to anyone playing with his name, the “Gucci Gang” rapper was dismissed by the Dreamvillians of the crowd right on Pump’s Miami home turf.

In several clips from J. Cole’s set at the festival, Lil Pump is seen dancing to the track, which many have loosely labeled a responsive diss track to the 17-year-old and some of his other millennial rap peers. The tension from Pump arrived from a left-field SoundCloud record titled, “F**k J. Cole” in 2017. He brought his hostility to Cole’s show, which Cole’s fans weren’t having at all after a fan’s caption on a video of him mockingly dancing to the K.O.D. track on the side of the stage.

“They started chanting ‘F**k Lil Pump’ and he walked off,” the caption reads.

In the first clip, showing Cole’s stoic facial response to his fans verbally flipping off the purple-haired rapper, you can hear the crowd’s roar against Pump growing louder and louder.

The video ends without viewers being able to tell what happened afterward, but it probably falls along the lines of the happenings of another Cole show with passionate fans screaming the same “F**k Lil Pump” chant. At the 33-year-old’s JMBLYA show just one weekend prior, Dreamvillians showed their support for Cole amid Pump’s one-sided beef with him by way of the chant. Cole quickly shut it down, though, unlike Pump’s fellow millennial rapper Smokepurpp, who led a “F**k J. Cole” chant at one of his recent shows.

Let’s call this one a lesson learned, Pump fans.
