Update: Chris Brown Punched Jeremih During Basketball Game
UPDATE: Chris Brown's publicist Nicole Perna issued a statement denying his involvement in the altercation.
"Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drai's on May 5th and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well," Perna said. "He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person."

PREVIOUS: Leaving Las Vegas could cause legal trouble for Chris Brown. Brown is suspected of slugging a man during a basketball game at the Palms Hotel early this morning, and according to This Is 50, the punching victim is Jeremih.
The two allegedly got into a verbal argument while shooting hoops with a group in the hotel’s luxurious Hardwood Suite at 3:42 a.m. According to the site, Jeremih won the game, Brown asked for a rematch, and the trash talk got physical. "The victim got prepared to defend himself and was hit by another male reportedly with Brown,” a release from the Las Vegas Police Department states.
Police were called to the scene, but didn’t speak with Brown upon arrival. Authorities did make “contact with an adult male being treated for non-life threatening injuries sustained as a result of a battery,” the release goes on to say. It’s unclear why authorities didn’t have contact with the Brown, but he must now choose between signing a misdemeanor battery citation and showing up to court, or leaving it in the D.A.’s hands.
Neither Brown nor Jeremih have commented on the rumored fight. Both were in Vegas for the highly-anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao this past weekend.
