After her incredible performance in “The Holdovers,” Da'Vine Joy Randolph took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress on Sunday (March 10) at the 96th Annual Academy Awards The category also featured actresses Danielle Brooks, Emily Blunt, America Ferrera, and Jodie Foster for their respective roles. In a heartfelt speech, Randolph reflected on her role in the film and her family's impact on her journey.
"God is so good," Randolph began her speech. "I didn't think I was supposed to be doing this as a career. I started off as a singer. And my mother said to me, 'Go across that street to that theater department. There's something for you there.' And I thank my mother for doing that."
2. Cardi B Releases Steamy Visual For Her New Song
It’s been almost six years since Cardi B dropped her Grammy award-winning, breakthrough album “Invasion of Privacy,” but it looks like she is finally ready to release her highly-anticipated sophomore project. Her new song “Enough (Miami)” has taken the culture by storm after she teased out snippets of the track. On Instagram, Cardi shared a tantalizing photo promoting the song that willmust keep her fans talking.
“Enough (Miami) will officially be released on March 15 (Friday).
3. Lenny Kravitz Receives Star On Hollywood Walk of Fame
Rock legend Lenny Kravitz has received plenty of accolades throughout his career and the latest was receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In a ceremony held on Tuesday (March 12), Kravitz was honored by his daughter Zoë Kravitz who attended with her fiance actor Channing Tatum. Denzel Washington, who’s been a close friend of Kravitz for more than 30 years, expressed his appreciation for their bond.
“We have been tied together for a long time, close friends, we are brothers,” Washington said at the end of his speech. “I love Lenny Kravitz like I’ve loved no other brother in my life. Less is more, Leonard Albert Kravitz.”
4. Russell Wilson Signs With The Pittsburgh Steelers
After a tumultuous tenure under center with the Denver Broncos, Russell Wilson announced that he was taking his talents to Pittsburgh and signing with the Steelers. Wilson has agreed to a one-year deal for the league minimum of $1.21 million in addition to almost $38 million that the Broncos must pay him to buy out his contract. As a free agent, Wison visited the New York Giants and the Steelers. According to reports, he spent several "hours" with new Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. The nine-time Pro Bowler is surely looking to show that he's still got it after his unsuccessful two-year run with the Denver Broncos.
But the pitch of the “Steel Curtain” made the nine-time Pro Bowler want to make the Steelers his new team.
5. Tank Announces R&B Money Tour With Keri Hilson and Carl Thomas
After a brief retirement, R&B star Tank returns with the “R&B Money '' tour accompanied by Keri Hilson and Carl Thomas. Taking to Instagram, Tank expressed his excitement about returning to the road.

6. Bun B Draws Second-Largest Crowd All-American Takeover at RodeoHouston
H-Town rap icon Bun B drew in a crowd of more than 75,000 during his “All-American Takeover at RodeoHouston. Held on Tuesday (March 12) at NRG Stadium, the Trill Burger founder had a captive audience during his 33-song, 90-minute performance. He even enlisted the help of his fellow rap legends Nelly, Rick Ross, Eve, Ying Yang Twins, That Mexican OT, DMC of Run-DMC, and a surprise performance by Drake.
Bun B thanked the crowd for making the evening successful before introducing “Champagne Papi.”
“And to thank you for all that you’ve done for me and my family, I present to you, The Boy,” Bun said to the crowd as the “6 God” hopped out of one of the vehicles. “This is our newest resident, please make some noise for Drizzy Drake.”
He went on to perform a set that included “N 2 Deep,” “Hot Line Bling,” “Nonstop,” “SICKO MODE,” “Rich Baby Daddy,” and “November 18th.”
