Mark and Lindsey Lashley shared one of the great experiences in life on Saturday when their newborn baby boy, Cason, was brought into this world. When baby Cason’s grandmother, Teresa sent out a family group message regarding his successful birth, she accidentally included a 21-year-old stranger Dennis Williams into that experience. Even though he let Teresa know that she had the wrong number, he took it upon himself to come and congratulate the new parents in person.

Though each party acknowledged the mistake, Dennis and his brother Deorick took Teresa's joking invitation to come visit the new parents to heart, arriving at the hospital with gifts of congratulations for the new mother and her baby. The family was shocked, having no idea who the visitors were.
Mark told Daily Mail Online, “It was different, I mean my friend just walked in and said, ‘There are some more people coming down the hallway.’ And we didn’t know who they were and they said, ‘Oh we’re the ones who got the random text message.’”

Something that started out as an accident, ended up as a touching reminder of the kindness of strangers. Thanks to Teresa, and Dennis, the family will surely never forget baby Cason’s birth story.
