Lil Kim is known for pushing fashion boundaries on the red carpet, and the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards were no different.

Kim arrived wearing a printed jumpsuit by Latin brand Syndical Chamber that resembled a naked woman’s body, and its skintight fit upped the ante on the shock factor.

The ensemble, in which the rapper paired oversized Yeezy sunglasses, a croc Hermès Birkin bag, and icy dropdown earrings that read, 'LIL KIM,' was one of the more daring looks we saw on the red carpet on Friday night. But it certainly wasn’t the most risqué ensemble we’ve seen the rap icon in. 

Kim cemented her status as a fashion risk taker when she arrived at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards in a purple boob-baring jumpsuit. The rapper's style—spanning from the early aughts to the present day—continues to influence hip hop culture.
