We knew it wasn't easy to get a body like Tyson Beckford's, but we also didn't know how intense the 42-year-old model's workout regimen truly is. Beckford recently told E! News that he pairs cardio and strength training to keep that sexy body in shape. Not only does he jump rope and do cycling, but he also does 600 sit-ups and up to 1,000 push-ups a day.
To help the rest of us get in shape, Beckford said he's releasing a Beckford Bar in 2014 and is working on an ab wheel as well.
"My good friend and I came up with it," he said of the bar. "I been using it for the past three years so that's what helped me get that V shape in my body and keeps my chest and my upper body toned. It's what I do my 1,000 pushups on every morning."
"I've been keeping up this routine since I was 13 because I did not have a gym membership. I wake up in the morning and I stretch and then I do my 300-600 sit-ups depending on how much time I have," he continued.
And because you can't expect good results from a proper workout if you're still feeding your body junk, Beckford adds, "The key is hydration and getting a good amount of sleep. I think the the secret I have now is using the Beckford Bar."
