He’s got signature shoes and plenty of apparel, but Kobe Bryant’s bringing even more sportswear to the game with a third season of his own line, K.O.B.E. Collection by Nike Sportswear.
The Spring/Summer 2012 line will include a selection of T-shirts, hoodies, rugby jerseys and more. Each will prominently feature badges and embroidery that nod to the pillars that the L.A. Laker says he’s lived by throughout his career and that fit into a nice acronym of his name: Know, Originate, Battle and Elevate. To Know represents the learning curve Bryant embarked upon as a professional basketball player. To Originate nods to his identity through accomplishments. To Battle is a reference to Bryant’s inclination to overachieve. Finally, to Elevate symbolizes his goal to always reach for the impossible.
The Kobe Bryant Nike Sportswear K.O.B.E. Collection for Spring/Summer 2012 will be available in the coming months at select Nike Sportswear retail locations. Check out the first look of the year’s styles and tell us what you think in our comments section.
