Nearly a month after things got heated on set during Hip-Hop Squares, Tamar Braxton is ready to clear the air between herself and comedian DeRay Davis. 

As previously reported, Tamar and DeRay allegedly got into an "explosive argument" on the set of the game show after the host made a joke accusing the singer of lip syncing her performance at this year's BET Awards. According to TMZ, Tamar wasn't aware of DeRay's sneak dissing until Lil' Mama informed her of the unwarranted shade. But, if you ask the "Love and War" singer, that is far from the case. 

During a recent sit-down with The Breakfast Club, Tamar clarified her relationship with DeRay and even offered Lil Mama a word of advice. "DeRay and I been knowing each other for years," she prefaced her explanation while in the hot seat. "He said something and Lil Mama, bless her heart, we gon' put her in her place one day. She gon' know her place one day to stop talking and egging things on."

While Tamar's comments regarding the femcee came off a bit mild mannered, she offered a disclaimer, saying, "I love Lil Mama! She just needs the spirit of the hush sometimes."
