A Chicago family is desperately searching for any information about a 26-year-old pregnant letter carrier who went missing about two weeks ago. On Friday, one of their worst fears occurred when police announced they suspect foul play in the disappearance of Kierra Coles.

Coles was last seen on the night of Oct. 2, according to her family.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service announced a $25,000 reward for information that helps locate Coles, reported WSB-TV.

Her family, who revealed Coles is three months pregnant, said they found her car parked on her block, with her cell phone and purse still inside.

On the day she went missing, Coles called in sick from work and a surveillance video captured her walking up and down the street the morning she vanished, People magazine reported

Dan Perkins, the boyfriend of Coles’ mother, told WGN-TV in Chicago that Coles walked past her car, as if she saw something.

“She seen something that made her turn around that fast and cross the street, and her car was on the other side of the street,” Perkins told the news station.

Days went by and when her family tried to call Coles, her phone went straight to voicemail. Officers then went to her apartment to conduct a welfare check. Inside her unit, officers found Coles’ wallet and keys.

Since his daughter went missing, Coles’ father, Joseph Coles, has been living out of his car at his daughter’s apartment building. No matter how cold the fall nights become, Joseph waits in the same spot for his daughter.

He waits there, in the same spot, through cold, quiet days and nights for any sign of his daughter.

Everything else was in its place -- except her daughter, Phillips told NBC Chicago. 

“I’m too scared to feel anything,” Phillips said. “I don’t want to fear the worst.”

As investigators continue the search, her father said he’s not going anywhere until his daughter is found.
