Beyoncé Is the American Dream as Beat Magazine's Cover Girl

The singer works those curves for the London-based publication.

Beyoncé is making us miss the summer months in her latest cover for Beat magazine, a London-based music publication. On it, the sexy singer poses in a red-and-white striped bathing suit topped with a red hoodie jacket. The American flag waves behind her as a backdrop in a field of grass.

The Hamptons in New York served as the setting for the Ryan McGinley-shot cover photo. And while Beat magazine might not be as widely recognized as, say, Vogue, artists like M.I.A. and Miguel have served as its cover stars in the past.

“The cover, as you can see, encapsulates everything everyone loves about Beyoncé: (Sasha) Fierce. Unfeasibly, almost disarmingly, cool. Strong. Bold. Empowered. An American f--king idol,” writes Beat’s Michael Cragg.

We couldn’t agree more. Grab this picture of the American Dream when the issue hits newsstands October 21.
