Kehlani Reveals Artists and Their Teams Ghosted Them Due to Support for Palestine

The ‘After Hours’ singer has no regrets over their support for Palestine.

Fans might notice the lack of features on Kehlani’s fourth studio album, CRASH, now available on all streaming platforms. During a recent appearance on the Breakfast Club morning radio show to promote the album, the “After Hours” singer shared that they lost numerous deals due to their support for Palestine amid the Gaza conflict.

On the Tuesday (June 25) episode, co-host Charlemagne Tha God asked about the music industry’s reaction to their advocacy for the Palestinian cause.

Kehlani disclosed that although their record label remains supportive, they have faced significant resistance. “I have experienced a lot of pushback,” they explained.

Kehlani also clarified a previous video in which they addressed the artists who were initially supposed to contribute to the album but then disappeared without explanation. “And it also wasn’t every single feature. There were people who didn't get it back in time, or it wasn’t aligned with the timing of their album. I didn't mean every single artist, but there were artists that I reached out to, and someone on the team was like, ‘We don't f—k with her,’ or they said this and another thing made it to me…”
