Waka Flocka Was Caught Out in Public Catching Pokémon
PokémonGo has arrived, and in the past week, had you taken a walk down the street, chances are someone was playing the game along the way.
The game requires physical movement in order to successfully catch Pokémon at different locations within the city the user is playing in, and Waka Flocka is the latest rapper to find himself captivated by the game, with fans running into him while playing the game on the street.
The mobile game has been taking the country by storm at an impressive rate since dropping earlier this month, while also redefining the gaming world and reviving the Pokémon craze that was strikingly popular in the early 2000s.
One Reddit user confirmed how active the rapper has been with playing the game, sharing that he ran into Waka at a PokémonGo gym in Atlanta.
“He said, ‘I made my first $1,000 selling Pokémon cards,’” the Reddit user shared, while also excitedly posting a picture of the two to prove he really did run into the rapper.
“PokémonGo got me feeling like I’m back in middle school,” Waka posted on Twitter, adding the hashtag #BigKidModeInFullEffect.
We have a feeling more and more rappers are going to catch onto the craze as the weekend rolls on.
