Update: Adele Announces New Album and Tour in 2015
UPDATE: Hold tight, Adele fans. Her next album, 25, doesn't have a release date and tour schedule just yet.
According to Chairman Martin Mills of Beggars Group, the parent company to the singer's XL Recordings, there is "no truth in this" post from the official World Music Awards Twitter account reporting that "#adele confirms 2015 Tour After The Release Of Her New Album 25!"
The tweet went up Tuesday (July 15), and by Thursday, Mills spoke to Billboard for damage control.
Meanwhile, no retraction or explanation has been posted to @WORLDMUSICAWARDS, as of press time, but it is still anticipated that the album will drop this year, and it's likely that on-the-road dates will follow soon after. Adele herself tweeted a probable tease back in May: "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x."

PREVIOUS: Adele's ready to let her fans know what the mid-twenties are like. Word is, the "Skyfall" singer is planning to release her next album, 25, and will support the effort with a tour beginning in 2015.
The World Music Awards helped break the news via Twitter, reports Complex, posting, "#adele confirms 2015 Tour After The Release Of Her New Album '25'!"
Although she has been hushed about it on her own social media accounts, Adele did hint at the album title in May, when she tweeted herself the birthday message, "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x."
Her debut album 19, released in 2008 and was certified double platinum in the U.S. and quadruple platinum in her original stomping grounds, the U.K. Her follow up, 21, has the current record for the longest run atop the Billboard 200 since Purple Rain (more than 20 weeks) and earned her six Grammys among many other awards.
