Dancing With the Stars champ and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward, who was arrested in Dekalb County, Georgia for driving under the influence of alcohol, denies he was drunk at the time of his arrest.
A rep for Ward tells Us Weekly: "From our preliminary investigation we can tell you that we are confident that the facts will show that Hines was NOT impaired by alcohol while driving. However, Hines is deeply saddened by this incident and apologizes to his fans and the Steelers organization for this distraction."
Ward is currently out on bail. Here's hoping he's able to tap-dance his way out any serious charges.
