The Obamas' Response to This Woman's Wedding Invitation Will Leave You Ugly Crying and Missing Them Even More
They may be out of the White House, but Michelle and Barack Obama are not out of the minds of many Americans.
As a courteous gesture, a woman named Liz Whitlow sent the former first couple a wedding invitation. We're sure Liz assumed the invitation would go without a response, yet she and her daughter were amazed when they got a warm letter back about a month later.
Liz's daughter, Brooke, took a picture of the letter and posted it to Twitter
The letter Liz received from the Obamas in return reads:
"Congratulations on your wedding. We hope that your marriage is blessed with love, laughter, and happiness and that your bond grows stronger with each passing year. This occasion marks the beginning of a lifelong partnership, and as you embark on this journey, know you have our very best for the many joys and adventures that lie ahead."
Seeing the letter reminded many people about the good old days
Others shared the letters they received from the Obamas over the years
