I'm The Bad Guy!: Nicki Minaj Wears Clothes Covered In Mean Comments
Nicki Minaj hasn’t slowed down since her little incident during the Harper’s Bazaar party. In fact, she finished out NYFW with a bang and is now gearing up for Milan Fashion Week.
Nicki took to Instagram recently hinting her upcoming collaboration with the fashion brand Diesel. She simply captioned the photo: “You need people like me. So you can point your finger & say: THAT’S THE BAD GUY‼️ Got a surprise for anyone who’s ever been labeled #TheBadGuy Stay tuned.” She tagged Diesel and the date 9/19. Nicki is posing in the photo wearing black fishnets with a corset and a furry jacket with a hood saying, “Bad Guy.”
So, we did a little research and found out the “Queen” is indeed launching a capsule collection with Diesel, launching on Thursday September 19. The line was designed by Nicki, herself, and will debut at the label’s flagship store in Milan. This rap-queen is truly unbothered and is getting to the bag!
According to Diesel's Instagram, the invitation for the event says, “The Queen is coming,” and “Diesel is dead.” So, they really have us wondering what this collection is all about.
Nicki posted another photo of a billboard with her posing in the Diesel campaign in Milan, and the barbs are going nuts. What a way to show her haters that she is indeed the Queen not only of rap, but of Fashion Week, too.
Stay tuned as we learn more about the collection.
So the Diesel featuring Nicki Minaj collection dropped, and we found out all of the deets.
The capsule collection is called "HATE COUTURE" and is a bold statement against internet trolling and cyberbullying, the meaning behind the collection is to disempower hate by stating that, “The more hate you wear, the less you care.” Several celebrities including Gucci Mane signed on to participate in the Hate Couture clothing campaign.
The clothing features actual words and phrases that have been said to them on social media. Take a look at some of the pieces below.
The collection is available at Diesel, and a portion of all sales will go to the OTB Foundation in support of anti-bullying and cyberbullying programs.
Cudos to Nicki and Diesel for teaming up for a great cause.
