Usher Extends Vegas Residency Until December
Usher's Vegas residency has stood out as one of the most captivating shows of the summer, and to delight his fans even further, the Grammy Award winner has extended the experience by adding twelve new dates to the lineup.
On Thursday (August 17), the legendary r&b crooner announced that the final Usher: My Way The Vegas Residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM shows will be held from November 3 to December 2, with limited tickets remaining for his performances in October.
Tickets for the final shows go on sale on Friday, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m. PT. while fan pre-sale tickets will be available beginning Friday, Aug. 18 at noon PT until Thursday, Aug. 24 at 10 p.m. PT. The sale can be accessed by texting (404) 737-1821 to join Usher’s community.
Usher’s residency has made headlines several times since its debut last July. Most recently, the "My Way" singer unexpectedly became entangled in a public dispute involving Keke Palmer and her now ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson.
During the July 4th weekend, Jackson openly expressed his dissatisfaction with Palmer's outfit while serenaded by the soulful tones of the "Confessions" singer.
Usher and Palmer cleverly leveraged this incident into an opportunity for merchandise and an engaging, casino-themed music video for Usher's latest hit single, "Boyfriend."
