ASAP Rocky Declares Rihanna is His ‘Perfect Person’
Some people spend their whole lives searching for the perfect partner, but for A$AP Rocky, he's confident he’s already found his “perfect person” in Rihanna.
In a recent cover interview with Billboard, where he discussed everything from his upcoming project, Don’t Be Dumb, to the challenges of balancing fatherhood and his career, the “Sundree” rapper couldn’t help but gush about co-parenting with the Grammy-winning billionaire business mogul. “It’s crazy how we find balance with our chaotic schedules,” he shared.
Rocky, who welcomed his second son, Riot Rose, with Rihanna last August, revealed that their relationship is thriving. “It’s going great,” he said, adding, “I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because when the schedules are hectic, she’s very understanding of that. And when the schedule’s freed up, that’s when you get to spend [the] most time together. It’s all understanding and compatibility.”
Rihanna confirmed her relationship with the Harlem native in late 2019 after meeting in 2012. By May 2022, the couple celebrated the arrival of their first child, a baby boy named RZA Athelaston Mayers, paying homage to the Wu-Tang Clan's founder and leader.
Rocky’s schedule has been packed lately. Rocky recently hit the runway for his AWGE line at Paris Fashion Week and is preparing to release his fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb. It’s been six years since the 35-year-old dropped his LP, Testing.
His upcoming project boasts an impressive lineup of collaborators, including his best friend Tyler, the Creator, Pharrell Williams, Metro Boomin, Madlib, The Alchemist, and others.
