Nope!: Soulja Boy Refuses To Apologize To Kanye West, ‘Donda’ Beef
Well, Soulja Boy still will not apologize to Kanye West after he realized that his feature for the ‘Ye’s Donda album was axed.
After the long-awaited project dropped in August, one fan of Soulja’s asked him what his thoughts were about the album, to which he responded on Twitter saying: “IDK how to feel, Kanye sent me that song ‘remote control’ and I don’t hear my verse on it…hmm f**k that n***a,” he tweeted.
His rant continued with additional insults and name-calling.
Speaking to DJ Akademiks in early October on his Off The Record podcast, Soulja Boy let it be known that he would not be apologizing to ‘Ye for his comments regarding the album.
“I ain’t apologizing for sh*t,” he said. “I don’t really know how to feel. All I wanted was an explanation. I feel like I got played…But it’s all love, with time passing and sh*t like that it ain’t like I’m on some ‘I hate this n-gga Kanye blah blah.’ Didn’t he make it look like I was gonna be on there though?”
West’s song “Remote Control” was reportedly supposed to feature Soulja Boy.
Adding, “I ain’t even call it trolling bruh ‘cause it was real. I just had to speak my mind and let a n***a know, don’t be doing no s*it like that, bruh.”
Soulja Boy also took to his Instagram account to drop the verse he believed made it on the album.
The official rollout for Donda had a few bumps, including multiple delays following three public listening parties in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta.
Soulja’s “Remote Control” remix is reportedly on the album, according to HipHopDX, and you can hear the unreleased verse below.
