The divorce battle between Jeezy and Jeannie Mai is heating up.

"The allegations are not only false, but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved. This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous,” he shared in a post on Instagram. “It’s disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court mandated joint custody.”

In Mai's complaint, she alleged four incidents when Jeezy displayed “explosive outbursts, excessive drinking and domestic violence.”

The first incident dates back to January 2022 in Miami, FL when she says Jeezy “began to berate” her before asking their driver for privacy. “He hurled insults such as ‘You w---!’ and ‘I can't wait to divorce you when we get back,’” as cited in the court documents. During that incident, Mai said she was held “against her will” and Jeezy struck her “a closed fist across her cheekbone and eye, causing a subconjunctival hemorrhage.”

Mai said another incident occurred three months later at Ritz Carlton in San Francisco, when she claims she was choked “from behind as she was ascending the stairs." She also said Jeezy pushed her down the stairs. According to the lawsuit, hotel security intervened because Mai said she felt "unsafe."

Then, in December 2022, a third incident occured at the UNCF 39th Atlanta Mayor's Masked Ball, where Jeezy “became enraged” because he didn't know where she was for 25 minutes after she went to the bathroom. After he demanded they leave, he asked their driver to exit the vehicle and allegedly “began to verbally abuse" her. When she tried to exit the vehicle, she says he grabbed her “by the neckline of her dress, resulting in the dress being torn and multiple 2-3 inch scratches across her right breast." Mai said this incident was reported to a therapist while Jeezy was present and she disclosed what happened to a close friend.

The last incident happened when Mai claims Jeezy was allegedly “overly intoxicated” and crashed “a golf cart which resulted in injuries to himself” and Mai.

Mai also said she is concerned for the safety of their daughter, Monaco, 2. While at home in October 2023, she found the child with Jeezy's Louis Vuitton bag that had an AK-47 inside of it. The complaint notes that Mai had previously requested the rapper's guns be secured in their home.

In September 2023, Jeezy filed for divorce from Mai after two years of marriage.
