O.J. Simpson Was Granted Parole, and People Lost It
The Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners voted to grant O.J. Simpson parole today after a roughly 75-minute hearing. That could spell him being a free man as early as October.
And that's all it took for the internet to lose its damn mind, serving up all kinds of reactions. Check them out below.
Still, despite the granted parole stemming from his nine years in prison from his 2007 armed robbery/kidnapping case, people couldn't help but relate today's decision and his comments at the parole hearing to his infamous "Trial of the Century" 1995 double-murder acquittal.
Although his granted parole was expected, it turned Twitter into an instant lituation
And people weren't shy about giving their heartfelt opinions.
This Granted Parole decision brought us back to when O.J. was dominating the headlines for all the wrong reasons during the 90's
Insane.
People instantly related it to Jay-Z's '4:44' Album and 'The Story of O.J.' track
OK.

Everyone from journalists to regular people were torn
We think many people share these same opinions.
Just imagine that person who will be living next to O.J. when he does come home
Awkward would be an understatement.
There were some people who tried to cheer him on ...
Really!?

And before the granted parole decision was made, people couldn't help but relate everything he said to his infamous 1995 double-murder acquittal and not the case at hand: the 2007 armed robbery/kidnapping incident that landed him in jail for nearly 9 years
We share this face right about now. We can't front.
Then there was this ...
Another reason why the internet is undefeated.
Leading up to the decision, there were just too many unbelievable quotes that set Twitter on fire, like when O.J. said he's 'not a guy who lived a criminal life'
Wow ... just wow.

And people destroyed him when he commented about his 'conflict-free life'
"Conflict-free life" ... yeah, OK.
And the roasting was seemingly endless ...
Always!?
You can't make this up
Not even if we tried to make it up.

There was a point during the hearing when O.J. lost his cool and raised his voice
Still, he got the decision he wanted.
Twitter collectively hit him with a 'we don't believe you, you need more people' upon hearing this
Ha!
And why in the world was one of the parole board commissioners rocking a Chiefs tie?
Way to take this seriously, pal.

However you see it, these zero-chill reactions to O.J. getting parole will likely continue
