At this rate, Ray Lewis is going to have a controversial, head-scratching comment to make every week.

Just over a week since he cautioned Colin Kaepernick to remove the American flag from his silent protest against racism and violence in the country, Lewis has managed to deliver yet another eyebrow-raising hot take — this time about the murder of Terence Crutcher, another unarmed Black man shot and killed by police.

Appearing on FS1's Undisputed on Wednesday, the former two-time Super Bowl champion actually tried to reason that Crutcher's murder and other similar police-related incidents involving Black men are "not race-driven, they're hate-driven."

Wait ... come again?

The moments before Crutcher was shot dead, a police officer in a helicopter hovering above made the judgment that the 40-year-old father of four looked like a "bad dude."

But that wasn't race-driven to you, Ray?
