Roy Hibbert Gets Dragged for Tweet About San Bernardino Shooting
Winning and losing in sports is trivial compared to America's continued problem with gun violence and mass shootings.
Well, Roy Hibbert didn't get that memo. The Los Angeles Lakers center cluelessly compared his team's losing season to the San Bernardino mass shooting on Wednesday... and he caught all types of hell online for doing so.
It doesn't get more insensitive than that and many of Hibbert's followers let him know.
"This is one of the worst tweets of all time," one follower tweeted, responding to the NBA veteran's message.
Another tweeted: "Congratulations, your tweet is a bigger pile of flaming s*** than the 2015-16 Lakers season."
Oof.
To compare losing NBA games to a mass shooting that left 14 people dead... really, Roy?
