Great comedians don't let a golden opportunity to crack a joke slide. Especially when the truth is something everyone might have on their mind, but just haven't said it.

After a tour stop at Florida State University, Kevin Hart met with the Seminoles football team, including star quarterback Jameis Winston. As captured on Instagram video, Hart flat out told Winston, "You need to stop doing dumb s**t," causing the crowd of players standing around the comedian to burst out in laughter.

And there's more.

"I started to bring a bunch of crab legs to see if you was gonna take 'em," he continued. "Let's see if he steal...give me some fruit."

With the crab legs mention, of course Hart was referring to Winston's late April incident, in which he was cited for shoplifting the seafood from a Florida supermarket. Two weeks ago, his name came up in an alleged point-shaving scheme. His name is also involved in a December 2012 sexual assault for which FSU will be holding a conduct code hearing for on December 1.

So, when Hart pokes fun at Winston's troubles, perhaps there's truth in jest when he conveys the cold, harsh point in telling the star QB to stop getting in trouble.

Winston and the Seminoles will host Boston College on Saturday afternoon.
