Earlier this week, a 61-year-old man was brutally attacked by two teenage girls after politely asking them to leave his property.

Footage of the unexpectedly violent encounter was captured on a cell phone and has since been viewed over a million times, even reaching the man's relatives in Ireland.

During the altercation, the two teenage girls were well aware they were being filmed, as one punches the man in the face several times, with the other spinning him around in the street, before both tried to make a run for it.

When attempting to chase after the two girls, the man loses both his balance and his cane, falling to the ground. He ended up suffering a black eye, and he is currently recovering from the shocking nature of the attack.

Given the two girls being aged 14 and 15, their identities have not been disclosed, but both have been arrested and will face charges of third-degree assault. According to the reports, the mother of one of the teens said her daughter will be severely punished and is also claiming she wants to apologize to the man face-to-face.
