Mother Caught in Disgusting Lie About Being Raped and Kidnapped by Four Black Men
A 25-year-old mother of three has recently been sentenced for making up a kidnap story with elaborate, gruesome details, and will see one year behind bars as a result of her crime.
In her foul allegation, which has since been proven false, Leiha Artman, of Muskegon, Michigan, claimed that she was abducted by four Black men who asked her for directions while she was standing in the driveway outside of her home.
According to Artman's fabricated story, back in March of this year, she was thrown in the trunk of their car, beaten and sexually assaulted, going on to remain missing for two days. During the time the young woman was allegedly held hostage and raped, her boyfriend was sent photographs of her, depicting her being bound, gagged and bleeding from a head wound.
Artman was sentenced this week (October 12) to one year in jail after admitting to one count of making a false report of a felony.
Her partner, who wished to remain anonymous, claims that she was coerced into making the plea and fabricating the horrific story, in fear that the people she really was attacked by would later punish her for coming forward.
"She did make up a story saying it was four Black men, but at the end of the day, she did get really, really hurt by someone," her boyfriend told the DailyMail.
Her partner also went on to add that she was a heroin addict at the time she made the claim to police, and needed to go to a rehab program.
