Tragic Update: Teen Prostitute Involved In Oakland Police Sex Scandal Arrested After Flashing Traffic

The young woman ran out of a rehab center and attempted to solicit sex from officers.

Earlier this summer, 19-year-old Jasmine Absulin, also known as Celeste Guap, came forward claiming that around 30 officers from seven different law enforcement agencies slept with her, some while she was under the legal age of consent.

Absulin, who has been at the center of the Oakland Police Department sex scandal since the story broke in June, was arrested Friday (September 2). She had joined a voluntary treatment center in Florida to be treated for heroin and sex addiction, but allegedly suffered a breakdown that resulted in her arrest.

According to police reports, the young woman ran out into the street and exposed herself to onlookers. Following this incident, she reportedly attacked staff, bit one person trying to assist her and also tried to solicit officers for sex.

As confirmed by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Absulin was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated battery.

Additionally, it was reported that Absulin was advised to go to the center by California police who allegedly told her to “treat it like a paid vacation.” It also was shared that on her way to the rehab center, Absulin threatened to jump out of the van onto the highway to commit suicide.

As a result of the early stages of the investigation surrounding the Oakland police sex scandal, three police chiefs stepped down in eight days following the allegations being publicized. The young woman's claims are still being investigated and the charges of statutory rape are still on the table.

More on this story as it develops.
