Quentin Miller Kinda/Sorta/Almost Speaks Up About Ghostwriting for Drake
Quentin Miller has been making headlines in recent days for one alleged role that sparked endless beef between Drake and Meek Mill. Mill outed Miller as Drake’s ghostwriter, and what unfolded after ranged everywhere from diss tracks to Miller allegedly getting jumped by Mill’s people.
It’s been an interesting road (check out our timeline here) and, most recently, Miller has finally come forward to talk about the matter.
In a conversation with DJ Vlad, Miller opens up about the matter, but does so in a very strategic way by not admitting to anything in particular. Smart, but the people still want to know: Did he ghostwrite for Drake, or what?
“Musically, we were in the same mind-set,” Miller says in the new interview. “We worked on a project together, and that’s that.”
While he doesn’t name specifics, he does talk about the work, which is probably in his best interest, especially considering how closely Mill is watching.
“It changed my life,” he says, of working with Drake (in whatever capacity he did.) “It was a great time in my life. It was one of the highlights of my life. I got an opportunity to work with one of the biggest artists in hip-hop, and we were on the same wavelength. We collaborated.”
So, since he uses past tense, maybe the work they did together is just a thing of the past?
