Mila J’s been hard at work when it comes to music releases. It was just two months ago she dropped her latest with The Waiting Game and now the L.A. songstress is back on New Year's Eve to give her fans a little something extra with Covergirl.

“I wanted to end the year with giving people out there more music,” she told BET.com. “This is for everyone to listen to. I want to end 2015 with a bang!!!!! My tour and album is coming in 2016. Happy New Year!!”  

Covergirl is a collection of carefully cultivated covers of some of Mila’s favorite songs, ranging from '90s classics to more recent hits. It includes an upbeat interpretation of TLC’s “Waterfalls” and an otherworldly attempt at Drake and Future’s “Diamond’s Dancing,” which she titles simply “Diamonds.”

Timbaland is slated to executive produce Mila J's next EP and worked with her on his song “Get No Betta” from his Christmas Day King Stays King mixtape. Mila also released her “Faithful” single via BET.com in November.
