Chanel West Coast: I Was Assaulted By Police
Chanel West Coast, the rapper/singer/song-writer known best for her stint on MTV's Ridiculousness, had a run-in with the cops outside of 1 OAK nightclub on Tuesday night, and it wasn't pretty. According to TMZ, she was allegedly beating on people and even punched and kicked a cop in the process.
Law enforcement reports that Chanel got into a brawl with another girl inside the club and was kicked out after security noticed what was going down. When she got outside, she began going off on security and was even heard yelling the infamous lines, "Do you know who I am?" and "I've been on TV for 17 years."
Someone involved in the fight made a citizen's arrest which resulted in Chanel being held until L.A. County Sheriff's deputies came, handcuffed her and detained her for battery.
Chanel, however, is saying that the police mishandled her, and that police "have gotten out of f**king hand in this country." She posted photos on Twitter to prove her claims. Check out some of the tweets below.
