R. Kelly's Brother Says the Singer Is a Cheapskate

R&B crooner's big bro files claim with state labor board.

It looks like the next Kelly family reunion is going to be a little awkward when Bruce Kelly crosses paths with his famous little brother.

According to TMZ, Bruce says his younger bro, R. Kelly, hired him back in March as a personal assistant and driver. The siblings made a verbal agreement that he would be paid $700 a week to chauffeur and run errands for the "Ignition" singer. Things took a turn, however, when Bruce hadn't received any money after working overtime at 144 hours/week.

Well, Bruce wants his money so he decided to go the legal route and file docs with the state labor board. In the documents, he claims that he sometimes had to wait up to 12 hours in the car for R. Kelly and, because of that, he never got any sleep.

He even told TMZ that he approached his famous sibling about the $11,000 in back pay but Kellz allegedly remained unbothered. After three months of working without pay, he decided that enough was enough because, he said, he's "not working for nobody, not even his brother, for free."

The labor board is still investigating Bruce's claim. Meanwhile, neither R. Kelly nor his reps have commented on the messy situation.
