Lil Wayne has been to actively putting out music while we patiently wait for his Free Weezy Album and Tha Carter V.
This isn’t a new solo single per say, but it’s a fresh collaboration as Weezy joins forces with Charlie Puth for “Nothing but Trouble.” The singer/songwriter is best known for supplying Wiz Khalifa with his Billboard-topping hit “See You Again,” which appeared in Furious 7. Wayne and Puth sound pretty good together, as they exchange stories about staying away from women who could be bad news.
The song will appear in the upcoming soundtrack for 808, a documentary film that will tell the inspiring story of the Roland TR808 and how it defined hip hop and modern dance culture through its use today. It hits iTunes and Spotify on June 30.
