Ludacris Talks B.B. King's Hip Hop Impact

It's "unprecedented," the Billboard Music Awards host says.

With the death of B.B. King, the music industry lost a trailblazing legend. But, as Ludacris told us, when we sat down with him before his hosting gig at the Billboard Music Awards, King's influence extended far beyond the genre for which he was best known.
"His legacy for not only blues, but hip hop and everything in general is just unprecedented," says Luda, noting that King played live instrumentation on hip hop records. "We are here to honor him and I'm just sad that he's gone."
