According to one of her recent Instagram posts, Solange is finishing up her new album. The 28-year-old singer dropped a pretty clear hint about the project being close to the finish line.

She wrote yesterday, “I promise y'all I been working hard on my cd. Almost freaking done,” next to a photo of a CD covered with a picture of her Met Gala ensemble.

The follow-up post confirms that she’ll be performing at the FYF Fest, which will be headlined by Frank Ocean in Los Angeles this summer. “Been laying low on the performance tip until new music is done/out.... buuuuttt an exception for FYF fest! Gonna be fun!”

Solo dropped the True EP three years ago, but she hasn’t released a studio album since  Solo-Angel & The Hadley St. Dreams in 2008.
