UPDATE: Xzibit will face the consequences of getting a little too drunk at his wedding reception last year. The rapper, whose birth name is Alvin Joiner, has been charged with two counts of DUI, TMZ reports.

He was busted after leaving the St. Regis Hotel in Manhattan Beach, Calif. The 40-year-old responded to the arrest report by tweeting a wedding photo and the message, "Over the last few days, you have witnessed lots of things that have been said and published attempting to steal the joy and sanctity of this moment you see here, sorry to disappoint those who have enjoyed these attempts, but we are on cloud 9 and will continue to be."

While most people spend the hours after their wedding on a romantic honeymoon with their new spouse, Xzibit was spending it in handcuffs for driving while intoxicated.

According to TMZ, the rapper was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol immediately following his wedding reception on Saturday (Nov. 29). The former Pimp My Ride host tied the knot near Laguna Beach, Calif., to Krista Joiner. Following their nuptials, the couple partied at the St. Regis Monarch Beach.

He was pulled over for speeding hours later. After police noticed that he reeked of booze, they cuffed and booked him at the nearest station.
