Kanye West's weekend of performances and a Drake stand-in at the Wireless Festival in London also included a DJ booth takeover at a private party at the Café Royal Hotel, sources say.

According to tweets collated from around the room, Kan-yeezy and his stylist Virgil Abloh played "about 20 new tracks" during a surprise set.

"All hard!" wrote Twitter user @UKJasonPowell, who further described the songs as "dark," hellish" and "groundshaking."

"Was blessed to hear Kanye West's new music played by himself at a private location lastnight," wrote @luxurybsales.

Partygoers also say Frank Ocean was in attendance, but no word yet on how he feels about the new music (his Twitter account was deleted some time ago).

West is said to be working on his Yeezus follow up, and word is he's been in the studio recently with French Monana and Rihanna.
