Chris Brown Released From Jail
A Los Angeles County deputy has told the Associated Press that singer Chris Brown has been released from jail.
Brown was reportedly set free at 12:01 AM on Monday (June 2) after serving nearly three months behind bars on a one-year sentence for parole violation. The singer had been in-custody since March after being kicked out of a court-ordered rehab facility.
In May, a judge sentenced the “Loyal” singer to serve an additional 131 days in jail for his admission that he was involved in a Washington, D.C., assault. Brown’s early release comes after he was given credit for time served in rehab and jail.
