Kanye West Kicks Off Yeezus Tour Performing With Jesus
Jesus walks with Kanye West. The rapper kicked off his Yeezus tour in Seattle this weekend, and spared nothing to give his fans a great show. West's set list consisted mostly of tracks from his chart-topping album Yeezus, including "Black Skinhead" and "Blood on the Leaves," but he also ressurected a few of his hits like "Stronger" and "Jesus Walks."
Yeezy scaled a mountain at one point in the show, and even performed a number of his songs with a very special guest — a man dressed up as Jesus Christ.
The self-proclaimed "King of New York," Kendrick Lamar opened up for West, complete with a live band. This is Kanye's first solo tour in five years. He did hit the road in 2011 with Jay Z for their Watch the Throne world tour.
The next stop on The Yeezus Tour is in San Jose, California on October 22. A scheduled stop in Vancouver on Sunday, October 20 was delayed to October 31. For a complete list of tour dates, click here.
