Azealia Banks Cancels Shows Due to Throat Infection

Harlem rapper pulls plug on Lollapalooza and more.

A throat infection has forced Azealia Banks to cancel her appearance at Chicago's Lollapalooza festival, show organizers announced on Twitter Thursday (Aug. 1) morning.
The Harlem native also pulled out of the upcoming Osheaga Fest in Montreal, where Frank Ocean was billed to perform, but cut the date over a vocal cord injury. He has been replaced by Miguel.
Banks hasn't given any further statement on the severity of her infection. She has however posted photos on her Instagram from various international tour stops she did make, which isn't sitting well with fans. "Thought you were sick?" questioned one fellow IG user.
This "212" rapper has a growing reputation for walking from a gig at the last minute. Last year she pulled the plug on a bunch of dates in Europe.
Wisconsin's Phox Band will fill in for her at Lollapalooza.
