DMX Threatens Legal Action Against Oprah Winfrey
It was only a matter of time before DMX came for Oprah Winfrey. X alleges that the talk show queen's OWN network tricked him into over-sharing on an episode of Iyanla Fix My Life, and he's not keeping quiet about it.
TMZ reports that X is still unhappy with his portrayal on the show, which had him looking more like a mentally unstable drug addict than a man seeking sobriety. During a tense sit-down with Iyanla Vanzant, the 42-year-old was asked about his drug problems, but claims that the topic was never supposed to come up. X was under the impression that he'd be talking about his addiction to women, not substances. "Iyanla set the whole thing up to make me look bad for ratings," he said."That lady is toxic… My last words to her were that she can suck my d--- and she still can."
The Ruff Ryder is looking into his legal options, threatening that OWN must remove the episode or face his wrath.
Oprah has yet to acknowledge his grievances, but a woman worth more than a $1 billion probably has a team of top lawyers in place.
Good luck with that X.
