Beyoncé to Headline V Festival
If you haven't had your fill of Beyoncé after she rocks the stage at the BET Experience, you can catch her at another huge show in 2013. Virgin Media has enlisted Bey to headline the 18th annual V Festival in the U.K. August 17-18, just weeks after closing her Mrs. Carter Show tour in North America.
The V Fest will not be Europe’s only chance to enjoy Queen Bey this year, as she will take her breathtaking live show from Eastern Europe to Scandinavia between April 15 and May 29. V Fest’s other headliner, Kings of Leon, will join Ms. Knowles along with Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris. Past V Fest acts included Stone Roses, the Killers, David Guetta.
Following the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé kept a low profile for most of 2012. She has returned in 2013 with a bang, starring in a highly rated HBO documentary about her life and returning to the road to build buzz for the release her upcoming album.
She will attempt to satisfy the deafening buzz from her “Bey-hive” with both national and international tours including the Mrs. Carter tour, which will take her across North America starting at the BET Experience on June 28.
Tickets for this year's V Festival go on sale Friday, March 1.
