Busta Rhymes Partners With Google for Free Album
Busta Rhymes appeared on 106 & Park yesterday and revealed that his upcoming album, Year of the Dragon, will be available as a free download via the Google Play store. The album, Busta’s ninth, is an independent release and is not to be confused as his debut for his new label home, Cash Money.
"The Year of the Dragon album, just so everybody knows, is not my Cash Money debut, my YMCMB debut," Busta said. "This is my Google album and this is going to be given to everybody for free... So when it drops — the second week of August, you’re going to get a date in the next couple of days — it’s important that you go [to the Google Play store] to get it because that’s the only place where it’s going to be for free."
Year of the Dragon will feature appearances by Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Robin Thicke and more. A lead single, "Why Stop Now" featuring Chris Brown, was released late last year.
