Brian McKnight's X-rated new song caused quite a stir earlier in the week, and the classic R&B singer still hasn't heard the end of it. According to TMZ, McKnight's latest effort has made him the toast of the porn industry, and he's recently been invited to perform at next year's AVN Awards — which are the Oscars of porn.
The 16-time Grammy nominee gained the attention of the adult audience when he previewed an explicit song called "If You're Ready To Learn" on YouTube. The song, which features the lyrics "Let me show you how you're p---y works," was supposed to be a kind of in-joke between McKnight and his Twitter followers.
In addition to the AVN request, the porn streaming site YouPorn and other adult companies are reportedly interested in partnering with McKnight and/or licensing his song.
It's not clear yet whether McKnight is taking any of this seriously, but he revealed on Twitter that he plans on releasing "If You're Ready To Learn" to iTunes next Tuesday.
