Nicki Minaj Says New Roman Zolanski Music Is on the Way
It's been almost a year since Nicki Minaj first hit her rabid fanbase with new music from her debut album, Pink Friday. Nick's "Barbz" are gonna have to wait longer for some true Minaj tunes — but fortunately, her alter-ego Roman Zolanski is here to save the day.
In a blog message to her fans on Monday, Nicki Minaj revealed that she would be dropping new music this month, via her rabble-rousing alias Roman Zolanski. According to Minaj, her Roman alterego — one of many — represents her defiant, belligerent, out-of-control side.
"Roman will be in rare form this time. You know why? Cuz he no longer gives a f---," she wrote. "He has two more weeks in boarding school. We're going to pick him up now. When he lands, he will address the nation in the form of music. He will also announce the date."
The blog posting was removed after a few hours for unexplained reasons.
Nick's debut, Pink Friday, featured "Roman's Revenge," on which "Zolanski" dissed Minaj rival Lil Kim.
