Rick Ross Sheds Light On Floyd Mayweather Confrontation In Vegas
After reports surfaced of a brief encounter with Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas, Rick Ross offered some details on the said confrontation during an interview with DJ Envy on Power 105 yesterday (January 22).
The two egos collided during red carpet festivities at the opening of Vanity Nightclub in Las Vegas several weekends ago. Sources at the party confirmed that Diddy played peacemaker and separated the two bosses and their teams before things escalated.
“It's safe to say somebody most definitely owes Diddy a dinner date,” Ross explained to DJ Envy. “Most definitely the bosses bumped heads out there, it wasn't pretty but we kept it gangsta on my side. I'ma leave that on the gangsta side, shout-out out to Diddy.”
The tension between Ross and Mayweather stems from bad blood involving 50 Cent, a close friend of the boxer. Things took an ugly turn when the mother to Ross’ youngest son took a trip out to Las Vegas with 50 to visit Mayweather’s home.
In other Rick Ross news, Def Jam’s biggest boss just released the first offering to his new album, Teflon Don. “Mafia Music 2” which features label mate Chrisette Michelle. A release date for the LP has yet to be confirmed.
