Solange Knowles is a modern chick and that doesn't only apply when it comes to fashion. The singer/DJ recently sat down with Necole Bitchie to discuss how she pursued her current boyfriend, music video director Alan Ferguson, and why she refuses to wait around for the man to make the first move.
"I've been in a relationship now for five years. Certainly, in the beginning I was the one who approached him so I have always sort of historically been one of those girls that goes after something that I'm into," Knowles said. "I'm not very old school and, like, I'm gonna wait on you. Wait for you to approach me type of situation. I have a lot of guy-like quintessential relationship qualities that I have had to work on."
Well, honestly, who would say no to such a catch, plus it's awesome to know that the confidence she exudes is not just a front, but a deeply-rooted belief that she rocks.
