Michael B. Jordan is such a cutie, so when the actor sat down with People to chat about fashion and women, we made sure to take notes. The 27-year-old actor recently signed on to help Axe launch its Gold Temptation fragrance, which is sure to drive the ladies wild. So when it comes to a sexy scent for women, what did Jordan have to suggest?
"More floral stuff — not too strong, a subtle floral. Something that keeps you going back for more — you don't know exactly what it is, but it intrigues you and you need a second, third, fourth opinion," Jordan said. "It's similar with Axe Gold Temptation — it has a chocolatey note to it, layered up with bright citrus flavors, a little spice and it's not overwhelming. It makes you want to keep wanting to smell more. You don't want everything all at once."
Through his partnership with Axe, Jordan is helping the sexes understand each other by taking part in the brand's #TemptationTuesday social media campaign that'll shed some light on what men and women find alluring when it comes to dating. He also shared his favorite looks on women — leggings, jean shorts and maxi dresses with heels — before adding that gladiator sandals have "had its run" and he loves when a girl goes laid back and casual for a first date. As for his own first date style, he admitted to keeping things simple and testing the waters with his questionable choice of outfits.
"If I'm going on a date, I like dark colors — lots of black to keep it simple. I like being very comfortable. Dressing down shows a lot about someone. [According to an Axe survey], 92 percent of guys like girls to be more casual — to wear sweats, jeans or T-shirts, wear less makeup, put their hair up. When you're casual, not trying too hard, it comes across as confident. You don't want to look like you overthink things. I prefer a chill, laid-back approach. You can dress up when you do something special. If you set the bar so high from the beginning, you don't want to go backwards. On the first date, I'll go with sandals with socks on, every fashion no-no you can think of. Then it's like: Still want to go out with me?"
