Tami Roman is getting her hustle on and trying to ensure some money flow outside of Basketball Wives. The reality TV star is set to release her new cosmetics line, "TR Love," through Walgreens stores nationwide. The line features nail polish and lip gloss shades named after some of Roman's icons like Khloe Kardashian, Mo'Nique and Cecily Tyson.
Roman had struggled through hard times before signing onto Basketball Wives and in the press release we learn that "lip gloss and a trip to the nail salon were the only ways she found to pamper herself during her financial hardships." How many of us haven't been in the same position and looked for cheap ways to make us feel like a million bucks?
"I'm really excited about the lip gloss and nail polish because we just inked a deal with Walgreens so I'm one of the few people who was afforded the opportunity to take a private line into a retail situation," Roman said.
In addition to popping up in 400 Walgreens stores in December, TR Love can also be purchased online at trlovecosmetics.com. A portion of proceeds from online sales will be donated to the Akasha Center in Santa Monica, CA, where Roman's late mother received care.
